Young ACU QB with Dual-Threat Upside and Local-Texas Roots
Hayden Anderson is a Keller, Texas product listed at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds who came to Abilene Christian as a 2021 quarterback recruit, giving the Wildcats a developmental passer with legitimate dual-threat value. His high school production included 1,295 passing yards, 9 passing touchdowns, 373 rushing yards, and 3 rushing scores in the 247Sports profile, which points to a quarterback who can create when plays break down rather than just operate from the pocket. That combination of mobility, experience, and room to grow makes him an intriguing fit for a program looking for a versatile QB option rather than a finished product.
