Active, physical Southern Miss linebacker with room to grow
Justin Penn profiles as a depth linebacker who brings physicality and steady tackling presence to Southern Miss; in his listed season stats he has 14 tackles, including 8 solo stops, 6 assisted tackles, and 1.5 tackles for loss, with a season-high five tackles in a game.[2] The available data suggests a blue-collar, assignment-sound defender rather than a splash-play producer yet, and his fit improves for teams valuing toughness, effort, and developmental upside at linebacker.[1][2]
