Experienced FAU DL with proven backfield production
Whitfield is a physical Florida Atlantic defensive lineman who arrived with real résumé juice from Jefferson County, where he posted 101 tackles and 15 sacks as a senior and earned All-Big Bend Defensive Player of the Year honors.[5] At FAU, he has been used as a depth piece on the defensive front, and his profile suggests a sturdy, disruptive interior/edge presence rather than a pure speed rusher.[2][5] For a team, the appeal is toughness, size, and a history of producing behind the line of scrimmage, though his current college production is modest and he profiles more as a rotational fit than a headline star.[6][2]
