D.J. Robinson is already flashing as a disruptive, in-the-box linebacker for Portland State
In the 2026 season, Portland State linebacker D.J. Robinson has opened with 9 tackles and 6 assisted tackles, while also showing ball skills with an interception on his ESPN bio line, which points to a well-rounded, active defender rather than just a clean-up tackler[1][8]. The early stat profile suggests he’s around the football a lot and fits the mold of a downhill, instinctive LB who can diagnose quickly and make plays in space[1]. That makes him intriguing for a defense that wants effort, range, and versatility more than just bulk.
