Rudy Buzzard gives North Florida a true rim-first big with size and shot-blocking upside
Rudy Buzzard looks like a classic interior anchor for North Florida: a 6-foot-9 center who brings size, rebounding instincts, and rim protection, with his prep résumé showing dominant board work and nearly five blocks per game in his senior season. ESPN lists him at 1.9 points and 1.0 rebounds per game in 2026, so the box-score production is modest, but the fit value is in the defensive presence and paint deterrence he can provide if his minutes expand. If your team wants a high-motor, low-ego big who can change shots, he’s worth a look.
