Trace Ramsey brings size, efficiency, and bench value to UC San Diego’s frontcourt
Trace Ramsey profiles as a versatile 6-7 forward who has shown he can provide efficient, low-usage minutes for UC San Diego, including a 2020-21 stretch where he scored 10 points in six games and hit a career-high eight points on 4-of-6 shooting. His value is more about fit than flash: size, positional flexibility, and the ability to stay productive without needing many touches. For a team looking for a steady role player who can help keep structure and spacing intact, Ramsey is the kind of under-the-radar frontcourt piece worth a look.
