Gavin Whitesitt brings Idaho-grown linebacker grit and special-teams edge
Gavin Whitesitt is a 6-foot-3, 227-pound Idaho linebacker from Rathdrum who earned a full scholarship after walking on, a strong sign of toughness, buy-in, and coach trust. ESPN lists him with Idaho and notes he has game stats available, but the most consistent public profile is his development arc: scout-team player of the year in 2016, then a scholarship player by 2017. That kind of backstory usually points to a high-motor, team-first defender who fits well in a culture that values effort, reliability, and local pride.
