Sam Daly brings efficient, low-drama guard play and veteran steadiness to Grand Canyon

Sam Daly’s value at Grand Canyon is the kind coaches love: a 6-4 guard with size, solid career shooting, and a track record of being trusted enough to start games when available. In his Grand Canyon stint, he was described as sitting out the first half of the season before appearing in 13 games with 11 starts, averaging 7.1 points and reaching a season-best eight rebounds, which hints at a connector rather than a pure bucket hunter. He’s the kind of steady, versatile piece who can fit a team needing maturity, spacing, and tough-minutes reliability.
