Disruptive Southern DT Who Can Wreck a Game
Jason Dumas stands out as a high-motor interior defender who has already proven he can be a difference-maker in big moments, including a three-sack, Outstanding Defensive Player performance at the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl. He also flashed week-to-week disruption at Southern with a SWAC Defensive Player of the Week outing featuring 5 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. The appeal is his burst, backfield penetration and proven production against strong HBCU competition, though his fit will depend on whether a team values an undersized-but-active, pressure-first defensive tackle.
