BJ Taufalele brings veteran linebacker toughness and reliable tackling to Weber State
Taufalele is a physical, experienced **LB** with proven production for Weber State, finishing the 2021 season with **27 tackles** and a season-high **five tackles** in the FCS semifinals at James Madison.[6] At **6-3, 235 pounds** in his senior season, he offered the Wildcats length, downhill power, and special-teams-to-defense versatility, with prior roster listings showing steady development from **230 to 235 pounds**.[3][9] The most compelling part of his profile is not just the box score: he projected as a dependable, hard-nosed defender who could fit a team needing toughness, discipline, and a low-drama, high-effort linebacker presence.[6][9]
