Sam Alsheimer brings disruptive linebacker production to Morgan State
Alsheimer is a productive, high-motor linebacker who gave Morgan State 25 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in 10 games during the 2023 season, showing real backfield disruption rather than just clean-up tackling.[3][5] He flashed impact ability in a big-game setting too, recording a sack against Yale in 2023.[1] The appeal is his blend of activity and leverage against the run, plus proven transfer value after moving over from Towson; the main question for a team is whether he can scale that playmaking over a full season.[3]
