veteran Butler linebacker with a proven fit on the Bulldogs’ defense
Butler’s roster lists Cody Gettinger as a 6-foot, 195-pound linebacker from Sullivan, Indiana, giving him the frame and local pedigree of a classic program-fit defender.[1] The main value here is projection: as a linebacker, his appeal is in toughness, contact willingness, and processing in traffic more than flashy box-score production, and the available Butler roster data does not provide current-season stat output to judge recent performance.[1] If you need a dependable, physical depth piece with Midwest roots and a straightforward defensive profile, he looks like the kind of player who can fit a traditional Bulldogs scheme.[1]
