Sebastian Davila is an intriguing UMES depth piece with early-hit upside
In the 2025 season, Sebastian Davila — a 5-foot-9 catcher/infielder for Maryland Eastern Shore — flashed a compact, contact-first profile, going 1-for-3 with an RBI and first collegiate hit/RBI in a March 29 game, while the 2026 team stats page shows limited overall volume so far. He looks like a versatile, high-energy roster fit rather than a stat-sheet bully: useful defensive flexibility, enough bat-to-ball to matter, and the kind of player who can sneak into a lineup when you need grit, not glamour.
