Drew Nickles brings veteran linebacker production and playmaking upside to Delaware
In the 2022 season, Drew Nickles flashed as a high-impact, all-around linebacker for Delaware, posting 53 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, eight quarterback hurries, and six pass breakups in 13 games with nine starts. He looks like the kind of defender coaches trust because he can finish plays at the line, disrupt throws underneath, and create turnovers — a rare combo for a LB. At 6-3, 225, with multi-year experience and academic consistency, he profiles as a smart, versatile fit who adds toughness, range, and proven production.
