Eddie Morelli brings veteran backfield grit to Valpo
Eddie Morelli’s value at Valparaiso is tied to experience and downhill reliability: in the 2010 season, he logged 30 carries for 73 rushing yards and scored one rushing touchdown, and in the 2009 season he finished with 31 rushing yards and a score. He’s the kind of back who gives a roster toughness and familiarity more than flash, with evidence of goal-line usefulness and steady rotational duty rather than big-play explosiveness. That makes him a fit for teams wanting a hard-nosed, low-drama runner who can handle physical touches and understand the system.
