Big-frame guard with proven high-school scoring pedigree, but limited college sample
Patrick Caero is a 6-foot-4 guard for San Diego whose calling card is size and scoring history: at Trinity Valley School he piled up 1,810 career points and posted 17.1 points per game, including 23.3 as a sophomore and 21.6 as a junior. His college impact at San Diego has been extremely limited so far, so the real intrigue is projection—if he can translate that shot-making and physical guard profile into consistent NCAA minutes, he could be a useful developmental piece. He looks like more upside bet than finished product.
