Intriguing Howard DL with size and developmental upside
Mukuka Kusaba is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound sophomore defensive lineman for Howard, a frame that suggests length, reach and room to keep adding functional strength. He’s on the roster for the 2026 season, but the available public sources do not show detailed game-by-game production yet, so the evaluation is more about projection than resume. The appeal is his measurables and position fit: if his motor, pad level and hand usage keep improving, he could become a disruptive, scheme-versatile front-seven piece for a team looking for upside and coachability.
