Sticky, physical cover man with pro-ready instincts
In the 2023 season, Kool-Aid McKinstry was widely viewed as one of Alabama’s top corners, earning first-team All-American recognition and a reputation for smooth hips, strong zone awareness, and real toughness at the catch point. He stood out because he could match receivers in coverage, tackle reliably in space, and still play with the swagger you want from a DB in Tuscaloosa. If you value a defensive back who brings elite ball skills, calm technique, and a competitive edge, he fits the bill.
