Redshirted DB with Elite Speed and Nickel Versatility
Ja'Maree Thomas, a 6'0", 185-lb freshman DB from Tampa, FL, preserved his redshirt in 2024 and is poised to anchor Rhode Island's defense in 2025. His differentiators include a verified 4.4-second 40-yard dash, nickel/safety versatility, and a 'D1 bounce-back' intensity that elevates his coverage and tackling. With three years of eligibility remaining and no injury history, Thomas offers high upside for teams needing a fast, adaptable DB who brings elite speed and redshirt freshness to the field.
