Freshman two-way piece Mackenzie Frani gives St. Bonaventure versatility, but her 2026 results have been uneven
Frani is a useful **pitcher/outfielder** for St. Bonaventure because she already brings two-way flexibility, earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition as a freshman, and made a team-high 25 appearances in 2025. In 2026, however, her pitching line has been volatile, with results ranging from a complete-game win over Dayton to several rough outings against strong lineups, so the appeal is more about upside, toughness, and roster fit than polished dominance. She looks like a good fit for a team that values adaptability and development.
