Deryc Plazz brings size, upside, and a nasty run-blocking edge to Miami's offensive line
Plazz is a developmental offensive lineman with real power potential: Miami lists him at 6-foot-4, 310 pounds, and scouting/recruiting notes consistently point to his strong hands, foot speed, and mauler mentality in the run game. He redshirted in 2024, then logged 18 offensive snaps in 2025 at left tackle without allowing a pressure in five pass-blocking reps, a small but encouraging sign of early efficiency. He looks like a fit for a team that values athletic, physical linemen with growth upside rather than a finished product.
