disruptive Pitt DL with brains, toughness, and proven production
In the 2023 season, Dan Stephens stood out as a steady, high-IQ defensive lineman for Pittsburgh, earning First Team Academic All-America honors and logging 48 tackles with 4.5 tackles for loss in 2003 before being named Pitt’s Most Valuable Defensive Lineman as a senior[10][13][2]. Scouts and team notes praised his ability to run and bend from the interior, and he battled through a shoulder injury early in his career while still developing into a dependable, physical presence up front[3]. If your team wants a disciplined, interior defender who mixes effort, production, and leadership, he’s a strong fit.
