Justin Cobbs brings veteran playmaking and efficient scoring to the Golden Bears
Cobbs is a seasoned **point guard** known for running an offense, creating for others, and scoring efficiently; in the 2024-25 season with Mersin, he averaged 15.1 points and 5.8 assists per game on .451 shooting, with strong three-point and free-throw accuracy.[3] He also showed reliable production in recent international club play, posting 9.9 points and 3.1 assists in the 2026 Basketball Champions League with Mersin.[5] The big differentiator is his combo of shot creation, decision-making, and veteran feel, which makes him a strong fit for a team that needs a composed lead guard rather than just a pure scorer.[3][5]
