In the 2024-25 season at Georgia Tech, Ryan Mutombo gave the Yellow Jackets real interior minutes as a 7-foot-2 center who averaged 2.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 8 blocks in 15 games, starting 6 after missing the early stretch following his father’s passing.[1] His best traits are size, hands, touch around the rim, and a feel for passing from the high post, while the downside is limited lift and only modest production for his minutes.[12][14] He’s a useful fit for a team needing a true low-post big who can protect the paint, rebound, and bring veteran maturity, but he’s more role piece than offensive engine.[1][14]
