veteran WSU DB with special-teams value and reliable depth
Chris Jackson’s profile is built on experience, versatility, and trust: in the 2023 season, he appeared in 10 games for Washington State at defensive back and added special-teams impact, plus a pass breakup and four tackles. He’s the kind of steady, battle-tested defender coaches lean on when they want assignment-sound coverage, physical tackling, and a no-drama locker-room presence. The fit question is simple: if a team needs a dependable rotational DB and special-teams contributor, Jackson checks the box; if it needs flashy turnover production, that’s not his calling card.
