Emmilyn Markham brings size, outfield upside, and a developing look for UMES
Emmilyn Markham is a 5-foot-11 outfielder for Maryland-Eastern Shore, and that frame alone gives her real coverage potential in the grass. UMES lists her on its 2027 roster, but there isn’t much public stat detail available yet, which usually means the scouting read matters more than the box score: she’s the kind of player who can project into extra range, matchup versatility, and power-ceiling upside if the hit tool catches up. If you want a long, athletic defender with room to grow, she’s one to watch.
