Tommie Tyler brings veteran backcourt savvy and defensive grit to Western Illinois
Tommie Tyler is a veteran Western Illinois guard who has shown he can score, rebound, and make winning plays, including starting 22 games as a true freshman in the 2008-09 season and later handling a bigger role as an experienced upperclassman. His calling card is versatility: he can get to double figures, chip in assists, and defend multiple spots, but his history also shows injuries have interrupted his availability, which matters for any team evaluating reliability and continuity.
