Bryson Strong looks like a reliable, high-volume Southern Illinois linebacker
In the 2024 season, Bryson Strong played in 12 games and made 7 starts for Southern Illinois, finishing fourth on the team with 61 tackles and posting a career-high 12 tackles at Indiana State, which points to a dependable, productive inside linebacker who can handle real Sunday-style volume at the FCS level.[1][5] At 5-10 and 195 pounds, he is undersized by prototype standards, but that can also translate into quickness, range, and a scrappy, downhill identity if he fits your scheme.[4] The main appeal is consistency and effort: he already proved he can contribute as a starter, and his stat line suggests a player with enough instincts and motor to matter beyond raw measurables.[1][5]
