Dave Calloway Jr. is a depth guard with a proven shot and big-game moments
As a true freshman in 2018-19, Dave Calloway Jr. played in 11 games for Monmouth and showed a clear perimeter profile: he hit threes in his debut against No. 13 West Virginia and again at No. 9 Kentucky, then added a little rebounding and defensive activity in limited minutes. His value is less about volume and more about being a steady, low-usage guard who can stretch the floor and survive in high-major environments. He projects as a fit for teams needing backcourt spacing, composure, and role-player reliability rather than primary creation.
