Artemios Gavalas is a low-minute depth guard with Butler experience
Artemios Gavalas was a walk-on guard for Butler in the 2023-24 season, appearing in 7 games and playing 8 total minutes, so the stat sheet barely captures his value[1][3][8]. He profiles more as a practice-floor grinder than a box-score producer: a 6-foot guard from Southampton, N.Y., who brought roster depth and backcourt insurance, but he entered the transfer portal after the season[1][7][9]. If a team wants a proven high-major depth piece rather than a volume scorer, he’s the kind of player whose utility shows up in practice habits, readiness, and fit—not gaudy numbers[1][11].
