Malik Johnson brings veteran DB depth and Pittsburgh toughness to Robert Morris
In the 2026 season, Malik Johnson is listed as a senior defensive back for Robert Morris, and the Colonials’ roster notes his 5-9, 190-pound build and Pittsburgh Central Catholic background.[1] The clearest differentiator here is experience: he’s a seasoned, hometown-grown DB who fits a defense that values reliability, physicality, and special-teams grit more than flashy stat stuffing.[1][2] There isn’t public statistical production attached to his RMU profile, so the read is more “steady contributor with veteran edge” than headline-grabbing ballhawk.[1][3]
