Beau Coleman brings compact, veteran edge to Iowa State’s defensive line
In the 2026 season, Beau Coleman is listed by Iowa State as a 6-foot-1, 239-pound senior defensive lineman from Chula Vista who gives the Cyclones a sturdy, experienced body on the edge and inside rotation[1]. The key appeal is old-school reliability: he fits as a hard-nosed, physical presence rather than a flash merchant, with a frame and profile that suggest toughness, leverage, and grind-it-out depth value for a defense that needs dependable DL snaps[1].
