Physical Samford DB with proven tackling pedigree
Jake Burdeshaw is a Samford defensive back whose value starts with physicality and reliability; his high school resume included 137 total tackles, 75 solo stops, 6 tackles for loss, and 2 interceptions, which points to a safety/DB who plays downhill and isn’t shy about contact.[2] He profiles as a fit for a defense that wants a tough, assignment-sound defender with run support upside rather than just a coverage specialist.[2] Public stat tracking for his college production is limited in the available sources, so the clearest signal is his tackling profile and defensive temperament from his earlier career.[2]
