James Bain brings NFL-sized length and a proven developmental résumé to NAU’s offensive line
At **6-5, 300 pounds**, James Bain gives Northern Arizona a big, experienced **graduate-student OL** with a rare backstory: he played for the Lumberjacks, then returned to the program after stops in coaching and development roles, which suggests strong technique, football IQ, and maturity. His value is less about raw stats and more about being a physical, scheme-aware lineman who can stabilize a room and fit a team that wants dependable interior/edge protection. He looks like a good fit if you need size, experience, and a player who understands the culture from the inside.
