UTSA’s polished chain-mover with big-play production
In his 2023 UTSA season, Joshua Cephus was a first-team All-AAC receiver after posting 89 catches for 1,151 yards and 10 touchdowns, finishing his college career with 313 receptions, 3,639 yards, and 28 scores. He’s a 6-foot-2 target with strong hands, body control, and reliable route-running—more possession weapon than track-star burner—which made him a high-volume, high-trust option. He later moved on from UTSA, so the fit question is less about upside development and more about whether a team wants a disciplined, productive receiver who wins with polish, feel, and consistency.
