Rell Porter brings veteran forward toughness and steady two-way utility to Liberty
Rell Porter is a senior forward for Liberty who gives the Flames a mature, battle-tested presence at the four spot; in the 2006-07 season he was already contributing efficiently with a 25-minute, 4-point, 3-rebound, 3-assist outing against Winthrop, showing the kind of connective, team-first game coaches love[10]. What makes him interesting is less flash than reliability: physical forward play, willingness to rebound, and the ability to fill gaps without needing touches, which makes him a good fit for a system that values discipline and winning habits[2][10].
