Jack Cavanaugh brings veteran guard IQ and steady connective play to Marist
In the most relevant available season data, Jack Cavanaugh’s Marist profile shows a 6-foot-4 guard with a reputation for high basketball IQ, solid shooting, and strong passing touch; as a freshman in 2019-20, he played 22 games and averaged 2.9 points in 11.8 minutes, with a career-high 11 points vs. Columbia and a four-assist debut vs. The Citadel. His best fit is as a smart, low-mistake backcourt piece who can organize offense, move the ball, and raise the floor of a rotation rather than dominate usage.
