Big-bodied Duquesne QB with upside, but still waiting on a true breakout
Xavier Rice is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound senior quarterback at Duquesne who has the frame and background to intrigue fit-needy programs, but his on-field resume is still light: in the 2024 season he appeared in two games and attempted three passes, and in 2025 Duquesne’s cumulative stats list him with just 2 passing yards on 1-of-2 passing. He was a decorated high school leader at Loyola (Los Angeles), where he helped win a league title and earn a division semifinal run, so the appeal is his size, leadership, and developmental ceiling more than current production.
