Michael Gillooley brings veteran defensive-line production and reliable interior toughness to Cornell
Michael Gillooley is a proven Cornell defensive lineman whose profile points to steady run-stopping value and disciplined edge-to-interior flexibility; in his senior 2019 season, he played all 10 games, made 16 tackles, logged 2.5 sacks, and added a pass breakup, showing he could finish plays and affect the backfield. His game looks built on consistency more than flash, which makes him the kind of defender coaches trust for assignment soundness and effort. If you want a physical, dependable DL who can hold up against the run and squeeze pressure, he fits the mold nicely.
