Will Burkett Transitions to Assistant Coach Role at Santa Clara
Will Burkett, a Santa Clara alumnus (Class of 2017), is entering his ninth season with the Broncos basketball program in the 2025-26 season, now as an assistant coach after four years as director of operations. The 6-foot-4 former shooting guard brings institutional knowledge and program continuity. While his playing career was limited (six games as a senior), his nine-year tenure in various roles demonstrates deep commitment to the program and understanding of Santa Clara's culture—valuable assets for developing players and maintaining program stability.
