From Cyclone Sharpshooter to Wyoming's Winning Head Coach
Heather Ezell, the Iowa State Cyclones guard (2005-09) who tied the program's career record with 287 made three-pointers and tallied 1,339 points (10th all-time), has evolved into a proven head coach at Wyoming, delivering a program-record 14 Mountain West wins and 22 total victories in 2024-25 (2nd place, WBIT berth) after an 18-15 campaign. Her elite shooting pedigree, championship high school pedigree (113-7 record), and player development expertise make her a differentiator—intense, guard-focused coach who's elevated a mid-major powerhouse. Perfect fit for teams seeking sharpshooting culture and consistent W's.
