Davis Aiken is Charleston’s high-leverage bullpen ace, and the saves keep piling up
In the 2025 season, Davis Aiken was the Cougars’ late-inning hammer: he led the CAA with 14 saves, struck out 32 batters in 32.0 innings, and became the only Division I pitcher to post 10+ saves in both 2024 and 2025. He enters 2026 as a preseason watch-list reliever with 25 career saves, which is third in Charleston history. The fit is obvious if you want a proven closer with poise, strike-throwing, and repeatable high-leverage production—less flash, more shutdown.
