Joey Claybrook brings veteran tackle experience and proven pass-protection chops to Tulane
Joey Claybrook is a seasoned Tulane offensive lineman whose calling card has been reliability, length, and disciplined pass protection; Tulane listed him as a 6-foot-7, 300-pound redshirt senior, and in 2020 Pro Football Focus noted that he ranked first among FBS left tackles in pass-block grade at one point, while scouting reports praised his square sets, active hands, and ability to pick up twists. The flip side: evaluators also flagged limited lateral range and finishing power, so he profiles best as a smart, steady fit for a team needing experience and technique more than raw explosiveness.
