Bethune-Cookman’s durable right-hander with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Abreu has been a stabilizing weekend starter for Bethune-Cookman, highlighted by a seven-inning, seven-strikeout shutout gem to open SWAC play and a 5-3 overall mark in conference play reports. He pairs a 6'1", 200-pound frame with a right-handed starter’s profile, enough innings to hold up in a rotation, and the kind of bounce-back value teams love: he’s already shown he can miss bats, work deep into games, and take the ball against top competition. The fit is clear for clubs needing a steady, competitive RHP who can give quality starts and keep a lineup uncomfortable.
