Bucknell freshman RHP Liam Jones brings strikeout life, but command is the separator
In the 2026 season, Bucknell right-hander Liam Jones worked 14.0 innings across 10 bullpen appearances, posting a 5.14 ERA with 15 strikeouts and 10 walks, which hints at a live arm that can miss bats but still needs sharper command. His profile as a 6-foot-1, 205-pound freshman from Alexandria City High School suggests room to grow, and the key fit question is whether a staff wants a developmental power arm who already shows swing-and-miss ability but is still finding consistency.
