steady floor general powering Colorado’s offense
Susie Powers is a classic control-the-game point guard for Colorado, known for organizing the offense, protecting the ball, and making teammates better rather than chasing big scoring nights. In the 2007 season, she averaged 4.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and a team-best 4.3 assists per game, while leading the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.1; Colorado also described her as solid in all phases and noted her nine-assist ceiling in a win over Wyoming. She fits a team that values poise, efficiency, and defensive rebounding from the guard spot.[1]
