Fairfield’s all-time sniper and a certified MAAC bucket-getter
Tyler Nelson’s Fairfield résumé screams shot-maker: he finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 2,172 points, hit a school-record 315 threes, and posted a program-best 732 points in his senior season of 2017-18 while averaging 22.2 points to lead the MAAC[1][5]. The big takeaway: he was a high-IQ, relentless offensive engine with deep range and real competitive edge, the kind of guard who can bend a defense without needing every touch to be perfect[5].
