Giselle Bentley gives Colorado State a steady, ground-ball-heavy veteran presence in the circle
In the 2026 season, Bentley finished as Colorado State’s lead pitcher with a 5.10 ERA, 6 wins, 6 losses, 57.2 innings, 14 strikeouts, and 9 starts, but her value goes beyond the raw numbers: she showed real game-management chops, including a complete-game shutout on March 21, 2026, and multiple late-season outings where she limited damage and worked efficiently. She’s not a high-strikeout flamethrower; she’s a control-and-contact pitcher who can keep games tight when she’s spotting the ball and inducing weak contact.
