Trusted depth linebacker whose value shows in assignment soundness and special teams work
Kacherski is a walk-on Ohio State linebacker who has carved out a role as a reserve and special-teams contributor, with 7 solo tackles showing he can finish plays when called upon. At 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, he brings workable size and a no-frills, dependable style that coaches can trust in the back end of the rotation. His main differentiator is reliability rather than flash; the biggest concern is availability, since he was reported to be dealing with a potentially long-term injury after contributing in 2021. He fits best as depth and a culture piece, not a headline-grabber.
