Chase Collins brings safety-depth upside for Northwestern State
Chase Collins is listed as a Northwestern State safety, but the available public data is thin, so the cleanest read is that he’s a depth-and-development piece rather than a headline stat machine right now. What stands out most is the positional value: safeties who can communicate, tackle cleanly, and fit multiple coverages often earn trust fast, especially if they play with urgency and special-teams grit. For a roster fit, Collins makes sense if a team wants a reliable, physical defensive back with room to grow rather than an instant star.
